I do spend time online during holidays because most often my whole family has work on holidays and I'm alone and bored anyway.

And I will probably be on come newyears just because we never really celebrate it.

Those of you spending it celebrating, I envy you. I, however, will be working that night (yes, 3rd shift, I'll be celebrating midnight inside my office). Yay.

However, I will have my laptop with me, so maybe I can sneak in some game time as well as some sparkling grape juice. Ah well.

Ye sure, I'll probably be on if I'm not doing anything else. Personally I think NYE is overrated anyway, but hey that's just me...

My mind is just boggling at the implications of this. I was most definitely not playing GW while this was going on.

At midnight I'll wake up my wife, give her a kiss & wish her happy new year - THEN I'll go back to playing GW.

For other events, RL>GW, always. Being there for the birth of my daughter is so far beyond any experience in any video game ever it's not even within range of comparison.

Nope.
I have a life,thank god..
Define life
Considering that my family & friends don't not live near me, I won't go to them.
I don't want to be on the road after 1AM on Jan 1, since people will still be using fireworks (legal here till 2AM) and there is a higher chance of drunk drivers.
Then I could do what every single person my age seems to be supposed to do: get drunk, get a 'date', get laid. Most probably in an environment with very loud music.
Yeah, that sounds like fun

I'm not sure what I'll be doing at Jan 1, 0:00.
I will be awake, because of the fireworks, that's for sure.
Most probably at home, not sure I will be online.
